IDClear Corporate Governance Practice Assessment
IDClear is fully committed to continuously improve the quality of its good corporate governance practices. Therefore, in 2023, IDClear has conducted self-assessment on its GCG practices, the result was released in early 2024.
In 2023, IDClear changed the basis and parameters of the annual assessment of the Company's GCG practices, using parameters that have been compiled by a consultant, the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship (IICD), which implements the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS). The Company considers the need for a reference that can be used as a reference in preparing an effective strategy for improving the performance of GCG practices in the future based on international standards.
The assessment uses international standards adopted from the principles of corporate governance issued by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The assessment instrument is grouped into two levels. At the first level, the assessment principles used include Rights of Shareholders, Equitable Treatment for Shareholders, Role of Stakeholders, Disclosure and Transparency, and Responsibilities of the Board. The second level, the assessment will take into account bonus and penalty points.
Based on the results of the self-assessment, IDClear's governance practice achieved a score of 77.80, indicating that the Company has a strong awareness of adopting applicable standards.
